A ten-sortie starfighter campaign with five endless modes: dogfights, a fuel-run cavern, a hull raid, a beam patrol, a trench and a dreadnought, on one ship you upgrade.
Goal: A ten-sortie starfighter campaign and five endless modes on one ship you upgrade: dogfights, a fuel-run cavern, a hull raid, a beam patrol, a trench and a dreadnought. Lock on and launch missiles; fly through supply drops to fill three build slots.
Controls: Phone: drag below the ship; fire is automatic; MISSILE (BEAM in RAIL LINE: hold, let go), ROLL and NOVA on the right. Keys: mouse or arrows / WASD, SPACE fires, X missile, C roll, V NOVA, P pause.
Fly the VECTA-DART through ten sorties, or pick one of five endless modes on the title: DEEP RUN (fuel is the clock), HULL RAID (open the gate, fly low for x2), RAIL LINE (one beam through a whole file), THE CUT (thread the one gap, torpedo the port) and VOID ASSAULT (three acts on one dreadnought). Your bolts fly to the reticle; hold a target to lock and fire a missile; roll to dodge.
Yes: drag below the ship and it follows your thumb (a floating stick is in Settings), the cannons fire on their own by default, and MISSILE, ROLL and NOVA sit on the right. It lowers its own resolution when frames run slow.
Yes, on this device: missions you unlock, ranks, medals, salvage, upgrades and the last checkpoint. Retry from a checkpoint after a crash, or replay any cleared mission from the map to earn more salvage. Finishing the campaign opens ACE difficulty.
Yes. The campaign posts to a fresh leaderboard and each endless mode has its own; the old boards (STRIKE's first campaign and endless game, and the five games folded in) are kept as they were.
They are part of VECTASTRIKE now, as sorties in the campaign and as its five endless modes; their old links open the matching mode.
