Goal: Your drill rig bores straight down by itself: drag left or right to steer it through the soft dirt and into the gems. Gems grabbed in quick succession build a CHAIN multiplier and charge SMASH, a burst that blasts through any rock but bedrock. Stone and hard rock slow you down, and the CAVE-IN rumbles down the shaft behind you: if it catches you, a heart goes. Drill the gem out from under a boulder and step aside before it drops; squash grubs, dodge red spikers, bats, lava and blast crystals. Every zone ends at a gate: drill into one of three upgrades.
