Goal: A mothership lowers its invaders over the city on swinging cords: singles, strings, chandeliers and trees. Hold anywhere to slide your hover cannon under them and let go to fire: the beam cuts what it meets first, and everything below the cut falls. The higher the cut, the more fall, and the n-th invader of one cut pays ×n, so catch the swing and cut the top. Falling invaders cut the cords they fall through (a chain), bombers blow up the cords around them and gold ones drop power-ups. Never let a cord touch down: a landing costs a heart. Spitters spit at the street, armoured knots take two hits, anvils smash through, and THE WARDEN and THE HIVE hang on armoured cables. After every wave you build one of three refits (twin barrels, chain sparks, heavy falls and more), and bringing down THE HIVE at wave 10 repels the invasion. Today's Invasion gives everyone the same invasion.
